I have a 70hp Force outboard with the tilt/trim switch on the throttle. The t/t motor was not working very well so I took the motor out and checked condition and cleaned the contact, brushes and armature. When I reinstalled it ran smooth and quiet in both directions, but for only about half the up or down position and then it would stop like it had no power ( circuit breaker? ). After about 1-2 minutes I could run it again for 5 seconds or so and again it stops. This went on for quite few times. Acts like a thermal or breaker goes out and then resets itself. Any thoughts on what exactly is going on. I don't know if the relays could do this and both the up and down relays doing it makes me think it's a problem common to both. Thanks for the help.
