Re: tilt and trim

i have a 1983 stinray 4 cylinder 190hp merccruiser i bought it with the outdrive off. and im trying install it back i bought the gasket and plugs cap rotor for it. i have a manule for it and looking at the manule it shows trim and tilt but at my out drive ther completly misssing and the wiring for it is shaved so i read something about bypassing the trim and tilt but i dont know how just have a little idea but not sure if you have pic. up an down if possible

What manual do you have? OEM, aftermarket, is it the service manual, or owners manual. All makes a big difference.
What do you want to bypass, if it's missing?????????

And what is "shaved" wiring?

i contacted d and r marina and he said i could bypass it.

Then why don't you contact them again, since they have actually seen what you are trying to describe to us.
