Tilt and trim.

I have a tilt trim guage, but it doesn't work. I looked at the outdrive and found the piece that moves to correspond with the guage, but there seems to be something missing to move the arm with the drive up and down. If anyone knows what I am talking about let me know. Thanks.

Looking at your title I'm guessing it's the 88 Capri and also guessing Cobra drive, the trim indicator has an arm that simply rides on the surface of the transom bracket as it moves up and down.
