Your tilt mechanism is electrical/mechanical. You should never trim up your foot with this assembly. The intended purpose of this lift is for raising the outdrive to trailer. It MUST be completely down in the water when running. If you tilt it while you are running you could do some serious damage. If you have hydraulic trim on your outdrive there are gauges available.
