Hello,
In my travels over the internet I saw a sort of locking device while the motor is fully back. I have been instrusted to use a log or peice of wood to prop up the motor. I have to store my boat at a storage place during the week and plan to disconnect my battery. I rather not have my motor down just inches from the ground. Does anyone know the name of the device or who sells it?
Thanks,
Tom

Transom saver perhaps. Available right here on iBoats. But your engine may already have a tilt lock. Usually a lever on one side of the motor or the other. Raise the motor, flip the lever and the motor is locked in the full tilt position.

Transom saver. Will greatly reduce the stress on your transom is during trailering and also provide an added amount of safety. You can get the it right here on iboats.
