I know this is a long shot, but I'm running out of ideas. My 2001 Chris Craft Constellation 26 with a VP 5.7GXi has new tilt/trim issue. I was getting it ready to put in the water and everything electrical checked out GREAT after the long winter nap. Then just hours before launching, the tilt/trim quit working. Relays click but no motor run. I suspect that the 50A circuit breaker popped. Of course the pump/motor is nearly impossible to get to (port side at transom). Schematic says there is a main 50A circuit breaker for motor power - it should be in a serviceable location .... shouldn't it? None of the resources that I have speak to the location of the CB. CC only built about 100 of these cruisers, so there probably aren't many left and documentation is sparse.. My boat has less than 400 hours on it and has been extremely reliable for a 25 year old boat.

I see lots of similar threads - I'm not only one that has been stymied by the "hidden CB". My hope is that a forum regular might have some familiarity with this boat or have some tips on locating the tilt/trim CB on this vintage of cruiser with VP duoprop power. I've tried tracing the wiring from both sides (battery/starter forward and reversing relays backward) but access for my 260lb body is really shitty - no joy.
