You can add more fluid at the LARGE slotted screw on the back of the resevoir cylinder. However, if you've lost enough fluid to cause the unit to quit working, then you've got a leak somewhere and that should be taken care of. Don't need hydraulic fluid leaking into the water...

You will also want to get the engine tilted all the way up to add the fluid. If you can't raise it, look through the starboard transom bracket for a slotted head.....you'll see it through one of the holes in the bracket. With a large screwdriver, turn the slotted head counter clockwise at least two full turns. This is the manual release and wil allow you to raise the engine by hand.

Once the engine is up, prop it up if you have to and close the manual release. Now add fluid and see if the unit will start working. If it does, repeat the process.

If you get it to go up and down, cycle the engine all the way up and down 3 to 4 times and leave it up. Check the level in the reservoir and add as needed and repeat the cycles. When the fluid level stays even with the bottom of the fill hole, the system is full.

Make sure you keep and eye on it mauiboy....as Scott posted, you could have a leak.....hope you don't. Watch for oil slicks around the TNT unit.

Glad we could help and thanks for posting back...d:)
