tilt/trim motor keeps running

I have a 91 Sprint 275 with a 150HP Evenrude. I was raising my motor and the tilt/trim motor kept running after I released the up/down button. I had to disconnect the battery cable to turn it off. I have unplugged the switch and replaced the relays, but it is still running when I hook the battery back up. Thank you for any suggestions. rdaniels@surrealnet.net

Is there a TnT switch in the motor cowling? If so, try unplugging it. It may be corroded....<br />Other than that, look for corroded wiring harness plugs and connectors.....

Have you checked the togle switch?
