Tilt/trim problem goes down but not up

The motor and controls are volvo-penta, motor is Volvo 4.3L GL PEFS 190HP V-6 STK #73126. The out drive is SX-M Ratio 1.79 Part no. 3868893. The outdrive will go down but not up, have checked the switch jumped the wires at the switch goes down not up. Can anyone help with this or have a manual with wire diagrams i can download.

Does it go up with the trailer button or override button whichever you have?

Go to the trim section in the manual link below.
You probably have a faulty relay.

A quick check, swap the relays on the trim pump bracket and see if the problem moves to the down direction.

button is only on the shift lever to raise it up or down. hope this is what you are asking.

swapped relays but problem remains the same

Fixed the problem, it was a connector on the wire harness lossened up. Thanks for the help could not have done it without the wire diagram
