Tilt/Trim pump fluid

I did a search but I couldn't find any info on fluid for my trim/tilt pump. It is a type 1 outdrive. What fluid do I use.

I think the type ones used 10w-30. should be a tag on the pump unit.

My #1 drive uses atf also.

I used the 10w-30 oil. Check your owner manual for the right kind of oil.

My owners manuel says to use 10w-30, that is what I use. I was told if I got all the 10w-30 out I could also use atf. As said above, check your manuel though.

Either ATF Or Engine Oil will work.........<br /><br />Actually, Any Oil in the thinner weights will work, Just Fine...........
