Hi, I am trying to replace the trim motor and I haven't done one this new. I can see how to do it, but can't seem to be able to drive the lower pin out . It won't budge. Top one came out fine. Why did they change from the old 4 bolts they were so easy to remove? I have try to heat it as well.Any tricks?
steve

Hey Steve...did ya' ever get the unit out? Trying to remember....don't think you need to remove the that lower pin to get the unit out. Once you get the engine supported you can run the pump or manually retract the cylinder rams to get them outta' the road. And I "think" there are retainer "screws", may be allen head" in the bottom of the cylinder holes where the pin goes through. Keep us posted.

OBJ I was able to tilt the whole unit so to get to the two back bolts. Took some time to get to the one in the conner. Thanks You might be correct about the allen screw. The pin moves with the unit so there might just be one under there.
steve
