Tilt & Trim?????

I have a 55 hp Nissan 87 model with an intermittent problem the tilt and trim will go down but not up there isn't even a click then it will start working for some reason and work fine for a while the do the same thing again. Do you think this is a solnoid problem. I have check all connections and they seem good.

Check your switch. Make sure it's providing power back to your solenoid, verify power at the selonoid. Then question your solenoid and start troubleshooting it. Hopefully, it's one of these simple fixes and not your PT&T motor.
