Each end of the pin has a snap ring or even double snap rings. rotate them so you can see a gap. pop them off. easy said easy done, but wait. Do you have the right tool? I didn't, so I used a flat head screw driver. I destroyed the rings on one side. I moved it to another hole and used wire to make a new ring. Now that is RedNeck. Don't worry about the details, nothing is impossible. If this doesn't sound like it will help then mabe I am talking about a totally different part than what you are talking about.
