Not hearing any sound at all when pushing the up button says there is something wrong with your electrics. The solenoid should at least click.<br /><br /><br />is your model a three wire or two wire trim motor?<br /><br />Disconnect the trim motor leads and use a known 12 volts + side directly on the blue wire going to the trim motor. <br /><br />If it is a two wire motor, connect the green wire to a known ground. The motor should run in the up direction. by reversing the two leads give you down<br /><br />If it is a three wire motor ground the black wire. injecting 12 volts + on the Blue wire should run the motor up, injecting 12 volts + on the green runs the motor down.<br /><br />If the unit works doing it this way it means you have a problem in the up circuit wiring or one of the componets. If the motor doesn't run in the up direction you have a problem in your trim motor.
