Yes, it is a calco unit. I've seen a couple on ebay. one sold for $200 and the seller of the other one is asking $400.

Why didn't you use the calco unit?

I bought a 74 Evinrude 135hp that I was going to put on a project boat, I picked up the PTT for it. I decided not to do the project after I learned about Starcraft boats, it a fiberglass boat. The motor sits on a stand.

If for some reason my current outboard has a major issue, I have a spare.

I gave it another look over yesterday. In preparation for the recycler, owner pulled all the flooring and panels off. All hardware still there (except one transome corner).

I've decided to pass this one up. Restorable...yes. But I think there are better ones for a project to be had. The motor is gonna take some work, and likely not worth the expense. Manual choke lever broken, skeg missing, cowl cracked etc. Rough shape. Trailer is worthless. I can't imagine anyone using it. Boat topside, including the top of the spashgaurd is dented, cracked and full of holes. I'd want to mig weld the holes/cracks closed. Transom would come out in shards...nothing left.

If someone was looking for a complete windshield, passenger side transom corner, complete bow rail or parts off of the 135...$400 for this would be a steal. As far as the Tnt...the Calco unit is prolly not worth much. If it works it might be worth a couple hundred, but from what I've assessed from the forum...I wouldn't trust it enough to use it. Finding a buyer for it might be tough. Original gas tank is intact...assuming there is no rust inside, which I doubt after sitting in a field for 20 years.

I'd contact the seller if anyone wants parts...soon. I don't think he wants to mess with it much. If I can be of assistance, let me know.

Man I would love to have that stuff. I need that exact transom cap. It is too bad it is all the way across the lake. My 16 footer won't make it that far.

I go to MI at least monthly, often more. Arragements can be made.

P.S. This is an 18' SS
