Hello. I have been looking at your forums for about a week now...searching.

I have an old Evinrude...."Falcon" I believe is written on the cover..its been painted. Ugh.

Anyway..i cannot find a model or serial# anywhere. the only numbers I see are 203573/572 on the respective cylinders. Actually, they are on little plates screwed to the sides of the cylinders.

I looked for a freeze plug but really dont know where to look. Sorry im such a newb.

The engine runs like a top but i want to be able to service it myself.

Thanks. any help would be appriciated.

Rum.

Re: Time to ask

Hi Rumrunner,

U.S. Motors made a Falcon line - late 1920's, early 1930's.

I don't know about them, but someone will.

Re: Time to ask

If it helps...this has twin cylinders and two muffler looking things sticking out the top by the carb. It also has a low and high speed adjustment knob. The outside has been repainted dark blue but the inside is pale blue.

hook ups for throttle/steering/shifting are also there. It looks newer than the 20s/30s you speak of.

I than kyou for your time though.

Can I post pictures on this forum? I could do that easy enough.

What leads you to think it's an Evinrude?

Re: Time to ask

Not to be a smarty...but it says Evinrude on it.

Also...there still is a little label from the manufacter underthe cover that says it as well.
