timing 2 stroke 79 80hp mercury

I was woundering if anyone could help me on timing a 80hp mercury 2 stroke 1979 engine i belive it is a v-4 but i have not seen the engine yet its for a friend. thanks for helping

Hi, Jeff, an 80hp 4-cyl Merc would be an Inline 4-cyl.

I have a 1971 2 stroke and 40house power and need help with the timing. How to adjust it. I don't no how to post a question. Can u help me?So?ry
