timing base for 76 johnson 115

new here, and looking for the part number or online place to find a timing base ring for my 1976 Johnson 115.

bought the boat about 3 weeks ago, replaced the water pump. had the boat out once, and now it will not fire. I believe the points are worn.

Evinrude is the same as Johnson for the 1976 models.

The "electronic parts catalog" at the link that I gave gives you detailed parts diagrams and part numbers for every OMC motor since 1968. If you still need the part number, just ask and I will look it up. I have the same motor on my little boat so I am very familiar with it.
