Timing Pointer 1981 merc 70 3 cyl

Hello all I am trying to find the pointer for my engine with little results can anyone help? I do not have the serial at this time.

Turn the motor by hand to bring #1 piston to top dead centre then find the mark on the flywheel and the pointed should be right there.

Look in the little bag on cowling where hand rope is as it should be in there...it then clips in the slot on the side of block.
