is there a way to set the timing without having the boat in the water @ wot

you can manually advance moter's control to wot and crank it over(make sure motor CANNOT START) check timing but you should reduce max number about 4 degrees due to "electronic advance" when engine is running<br />the best way to do it is in the water with a test wheel installed
