Personally...I like the idea of the 'big S" in place of the peace sign. The big S kinda communicates "superman"...and working on these boats is nothing short of super!

Peace sign just gets a little political...IMHO ;)

Ok Please don't take this in the wrong way. But Looking at the two logos and knowing what the design process was all about(Tin stock)=(Woodstock) idea hence the peace sign. But the text font in the logo is all wrong please tell me that is not the font y'all plan to use for the logo. I know the Starcraft logo needs to use the co. logo font. I kinda like the main idea and the simplicity of the logo, but that font just ruins the whole thing. Like I mentioned before I am a logo graphics kinda of guy have done many things. Please don't rush this logo making and just decide on the first one that pops out. There is plenty of time to spend on perfecting this and like I mentioned before I would be glad to help out. I have over 100,000 different fonts to chose from I even have fonts that would be from that era. Just a thought. I have so many samples of stuff I have done professionally, too many to show. I did put a link in a post showing a few but it seems there were no real responses.

Jim by all means desighn away as you said we have plenty of time to get it right . Bret was nice enough to pop off a couple desighns for us to get us going but I dont see a problem with doing up a few more . I think it would be greqt for you and Bret to work together and make us a killer desighn for the shirts and such . I have plans for a few extras I am going to have done but I am not letting the cat out of the bag on those till everybody gets to Virginia :D.

Jim,

Sorry you don't like the font choice, My background is engineering, so I don't usually get into the artsy stuff. I just picked a legible font that would not distract from the centerpiece. I took the bull by the horns and threw something out there. I would be happy to send you the base artwork and let you do your thing. Just P.M. me your email address and I will get it to you.

I would like to see what modifications JimBC comes up with. The basic design is fine, may be a bit of tweaking?

Luckily I had my sunglasses closeby when I saw the shirt design. :D:D

Now if it featured an older Starcraft, say a 1964 Jet, I would be even happier.

Looking forward to seeing responses from others.

Thanks, Albert

Jim I couldnt get the first one to show up for me it would downlod but as soon as I tried to scroll on the page it was gone :D. The second one looks great but there is one little problem . The guy I use screen prints the shirts soooooooooooo the more colors we want the more money it will cost to get them done . The boat may be a little tricky as well for screen printing :D. I do like the desighn and if I could get iron on transfers done it would work but I am not sure about screen printing them . We need to try to keep it 2 colors to keep cost down maybe 3 colors.

Well let me check with my guy I have used. I use to get I think like 4 or 5 colors for something like 6 to 7 bucks a shirt. But it does matter in quantity the more you order the less it cost.

I really like Jim's design, especially the font. I like the fact that is has a boat on it. Make the Starcraft logo a little more prominent and we're in business. Also, think about how to do the most with the fewest colors so our screen printing can be affordable. Nice work guys.

Try one without the peace symbol I think it distracts from the the logo. I did serve for 11 years but perhaps the west coast was a bit indifferent

Slam dunk DONE. Is my opinion. Love that one. We have the hippie font to pick up on the "stock" but not the apparently controversial peace symbol. Nice work!
