All- for the record i rented a condo on the water. I'm thinking that maybe a BBQ is in order Saturday late in the day? Nothing fancy just some burgers and dogs. Maybe a good time to let the kids run around and for us to relax.

Maybe we could all bring a dish to pass or something..

Yes, the Fives family and my family are splitting a house. If the lake-front yard is as big as it looks.....I think we can pretty much "host" some gatherings. Should be great. We both currently still have reservations in the Inn that we will be canceling shortly. If anyone is wanting to stay there and couldn't get a room, let one of us know and we can probably transfer our reservation to you.

We're considering.It would be about 8 hrs for us from Ohio. If we make it I'll bring my bass and harps to back up NB.

i so badly wanted to go. unfortunatly my trailer is not up to the trip... i need to replace shocks tires and wheel bearings in order to make the 600 mile trip, and thats just not going to leave me with enough cash for the trip itself. you guys have no idea how bad i wanted to go. but hopefully if it goes well it will happen again next year and ill be in there like swim wear.

No can do for me, I appreciate the invite. I just hope I can splash before September! Mine is turning into more and more of a project every day. Good luck to all there. Post some pictures for me guys.

I wont be able to make it guys ( as Andy said I am still neck deep in house repairs ) . The last work done on the house was 2 sundays back . I had 2 buddies over and we ripped the hardwood floors ,subfloors and floorjoists out of the kitchen and dining room. We managed to get the floor joists back in before calling it a day and tpssing some charcoal in the grill for a little cookout . Airconditioning season hit hard and HEAVY here and I am not getting anything done on the house or the boat. Ok enough complainin out of me I am afterall actually selling airconditioners this summer at least instead of heaters like last summer ROFLMAO.

It's about 550 miles for me but I'm looking for accomodations, I'm new to the forum so I'd like to meet you guys. I have a '62 starjet that has been in the family since new. Primarily used as a duck boat, tender for layout rigs. Only recently have I started to appreciate the boat and restore her. I'll post pics in a few days. I found you guys by looking for parts and was blown away by some of the restorations you've posted. The idea to replace the transom saved me alot of effort and the brochure posting was the only way I could identify her. Anyhow, if anyone has a lead on rooms available please respond. I would love to come but my fiance's dad is getting married that day in Hershey, PA. I'm only about 3 hours from Lake Anna though. So hopefully this starts a tradition and it's a once a year thing. Or better yet, later this summer.
