Tiny Tach

Hello everyone. Do you think I could mount my Tiny Tach in the cowl of my 9.9 hp force? I take the motor on and off the the boat when I use my electric trolling motor so I want the tach to go with it. I could use quick connectors in the wiring so the cowl could be removed easily. My boat is a 14' aluminum fishing boat so there aren't many places to mount the display. Maybe on th back of the bench in front of me. I do need to see the tach at full throttle while I'm hanging on to the tiller.

Wherever you are comfortable with it. I do not know how waterproof (if at all) the tiny tach is........ you might want to enclose it in a zip lock bag.

Have mine on the front(handle) for the last 3 years.
It's just wire tied there with some electrical tape,I do cover it when not in use but it has been rained on plenty of times.
This is the only picture I could find right now but should give you a good idea.
