what kind of motor to buy for a boat for max 40hp power,. the boat are use every second week, 2 days, most of the year.max radius 18 nm of boating. ( 2-stroke, 4 stroke, e-tec.......)???

Buy whatever brand and type that is serviced in your area. E-tec for performance and lack of required maintenance.

i agree etec for performance, and maintainance, but the bigger picture is availability of service and parts, in your section of the world.

my town is on the sea coast. we have all dealers and services. Yamaha, Mercury, Evinrude, Johnson, Tohatsu, Suzuki, Mariner, Honda.
