I’ve seen fishing boats with a rubberized surfaces, carpet hold moisture. I’d like to hear all my options! Any Opinion is welcome. What have you fellows done?

What’s line - x XS 650? I want a none slip surface “not carpet”
Line-X's marine coating (UV stable version of poly urea bed liner developed by fishermen for fishermen who own center console fishing boats) you can throw knives at it, swordfish at it and bathe it in blood...... then simply rinse it off.

click on the marine link and read up.

the EVA foam that you are showing has an adhesive back. the downside, its easily stained. however with scrubbing and cleaners you can get it out.

I personally like snap-in carpet.

I had mine redone with non skid gel coat about 15 years ago and it still looks pretty good now. If your boat has wood cored decks as most boats older than 15 years do you don’t want anything to trap moisture .

I had my pickup truck bed done with Line-X. It looks and performs great. Very durable.
I didn't know there was a fishing boat version of the product.
It would definitely be an awesome way to cover the inside of an aluminum fishing boat and probably help deaden sound too.

Is line-x expensive? I've seen some types of truck bedliners that you spray on yourself.....I wonder how they would work on a deck.

Last year I paid $525 to spray my 6'6" Silverado bed with Line-X.
Prices can vary in different areas. Shop around.

I believe a marine version for boats was mentioned earlier in this thread. I don't know what the difference is in both materials used and cost.
I do know you can pay extra for the UV protection for your truck, if you want it. They can also add color, it doesn't have to be black.

Yes, there are a bunch of diy roll-on type systems out there. They do get pretty good reviews.

I would decide by thinking about a few things.
- How nice you want it to look... is it a nice boat or just a beater for fishing?
- How it might last in your environment or climate. Is it salt water or fresh? Do you cover the boat?

Most of this stuff is pretty tough.
I've also had bedliners done by Rhino Liner. They are also one of the popular brands like Line-X.

I’m leaning towards a roll on gel coat. That way I can still build on it. I’d like to know more about this none skid type where’d you buy it? What’s it called.
