Converting from manual tilt to power TNT, mechanical all done and found a used wire harness 819514A2 and it has minimal ground wire(s) length and asking for advice on correct ground hook up. This engine has a terminal bracket F438493 gold in color and has a tab used for a clamp (iboat diagram). Can I attach my ground to the tab or attach to the bracket mounding bolts. I want to make sure I hook up the harness correct.
Thanks for help.

Re: TNT grounding

As long as it is making good solid contact with ground, it'll work fine. Any bracket or attachment point that is bolted to the block will work. Better yet would be to bolt it directly to the block. There should be a bolt that attaches the negative battery cable to the block. That's a good spot if the wire will reach.
