What do I hear from the Glass guys?
Cricket.....cricket....cricket
I say refer to Post #110, especially the part where he fixes the damage really fast and inexpensively. Don't think that will happen with that piece of Al U Men EEEE UM![]()
How much is scrap fiberglass currently going for at the recycle yard?
I would'nt know I've never had to scrap one. I've always repaired em. Only the "Tin Can's" get holes that are unrepairable and seams that Reeevits can't fix no matter how much Gluvit you use. ( By the way Gluvit is Epoxy Resin just like in Glass Boats)How much is scrap fiberglass currently going for at the recycle yard?
wouldn't know since fiberglass doesn't rust or have leaky reevits people just restore them!
This ^^^ too is wrong. Beer is best consumed from Glass not Tin Cans!!!! Aged in Copper vats then Bottled not canned. Never liked the "Tinny" taste.
Well there ya go.... but... just don't hit nuthin hidden under the waves. That's what always skeered me about em. I would NOT know what to do with dents and Reevits!!!!
That IS a nice lookin Tin Can! I really like the Blue.
I have attached a simple diagram of the elements of Aluminum versus Glass.

How many fiberglass aircraft have you seen lately?![]()
Quite a few. Most new commercial airliners are composite, a form of FG.
