We should make it mandatory that you sign up after you spent your first $1,000 on repairs (or saved $1k by refering to the forum and doing the work yourself) .....that will get the numbers up!

I've stumbled into other sites on the web(not boat related) that only allow you a set number of visits before having to sign up.

I "lurked" on this site for approximately six months before joining, and posting for the first time. I lurked on a Tactical site forth a month or so after becoming a tactical medic. I never even posted an introduction. The site was not for me. Seemed like a lot of folks with a lot to prove and a lot of hot air to offer. It seems to me that iboats is simply unattractive to that type of crowd.

i had my stringers and transom in before i joined, wanted to make sure i was going to see it through before i started sharing, i did take pics along the way to post when i started my thread. now i spend more time on here than fb cl or any other site, if only there were a shortcut or widget for my andriod it would be easier to get to while i'm at work

I'm on scream and fly constantly and I have maybe 2 posts over there. Not too much to contribute...I own a 72 Starcraft with a 40 year old 65hp Johnson, not a 2012 Allison with a 3.0 Merc. I'd prefer to just lurk there, maybe they feel the same?
