Lark, its a PSE bow.I shot the yote while I was deer hunting.Stooges,I plan on cutting some more after we get the midgets in bed.Dink,dont you know anything?The vacucharger goes inside the boat,not on top of the motor.Thats what the hose is for!

lol thats a quick generalization of everyone here... but since there was only 3 stooges... I must be out of that mix. Dave, Lark, and Calico have them all covered up already .<br /><br />I was saving room on your boat for the "yote's" made a special mounting bracket for the turbovac

The hull is upside down. I'm going to go round over the edges with a belt sander and glue the joints in a few minutes. Yes Wimper you can thicken the resin with filler, you mean you haven't been thickening at all? I tried some sawdust but it was too coarse, it would need to be sanding dust. The filler you saw was, ready for this?, fiberglass insulation. There was a good size gap at the ends of the canoe so I packed it with insulation with a putty knife (the formaldahyde free kind) and it wet out nicely. I took the picture before wetting, the fiberglass turned clear with resin soaked in. I wish I would have used less hardener at that step and had a little more time to make a pretty fillet. I didn't want to try and tape the curved ends on the inside but in the center section I taped and will be taping the seam on the bottom side for the entire length. Wanna guess what I'm using for tape???

CK, <br />I have heard about using insulation some where before.And no guess as to what you are using for tape, with you theres no tellin.I know what you do for a living and know how you sparkys are. How do I know you ask?I did the same thing for 6 years before quitting and becoming a little pansie fire and burglar alarm guy.Mind if I tie wrap to your conduit?Or are you as a friend of mine used to say a "wood cutter electrician"(house wireman)

nope i've been using mat or cloth with the resin... I havent filled anything. is that bad?

I'm thinking those 6 years of electrical... pretty much did it in for you Captian Periwinkle.... I mean look at you.... Your sitting a yak with flowers on it.... with a TuTu and captains hat on, holdin a club in one hand and flowers in the other.... Lets not forget the dehydrated dog or whatever is layin on the front of it...

And a pallet. Spray some "great stuff" inside the pallet, sand off, fiberglass... put up some cornor posts and a transom and you'll have a boat.<br /><br />

you know.... thats a damn good Idea....I think I have 4 table legs floatin around or I could tear the pallet down... and use the peices to cut templates for when I really am going to cut it out mlm
