Not yet, I'm still doing battle with Mr. Hanky and family. Maybe if it isn't windy tomorrow I could test it? It is watertight and sound, just not finished appearance wise. Not that anyone but the fishes will be seeing it

lol we want pictures of the whole thing in one picture before ya sink it. been trying to paste all the pictures together to get a good single pic and it just doesnt work Tie some empty jugs to each end so retrieval is an easier process.

Now During the Honeymoon CPJ started talking about his boat and templates. All this bull crap talk started makin BD talk about leaving him, But since she was stuck on a boat with him and didn't want to get wet, she took things into her own matter and grabbed the only thing she could. This ended the Marraige quite abrutly. It happened so fast CPJ couldn't even budge his arm holding the club. Another Controverseal Picture had been added for alls enjoyment and please remember this was right at the point of impact. Noticed the stunned look on his face <br /><br /><br />

sorry to digress, i was NEVER planning on building templates...........I was confusing template with some sort of frame i was gonna start with. I agree they are useless

The smallest motor I have is a 25hp.....I'm thinking when I do get this darn thing build its gonna kill me. <br /><br />All I know is that this will be interesting.....I have never glassed before.<br /><br />This is prolly the best thread going on iboats..........except of coarse my song thread. jk

It all depends on durable you want your boat to be.. if your going to build a minimax, in about 4 days, then go for it, but if your going to build something your going to spend lots of time on therefor you want to last lonfer then a few years then I would step it up and at least buy a good exterior, if not marine grade. Do you know what your building (in case I missed it)<br /><br />Heck you can build a boat outta 1/4 luan, fiberglass insulation and drywall tape... that weighs 21 pounds... appearently...
