I can attest to the big box electronics stores....I work at one. I also worked at target for 4yrs and know that you couldnt barter a price there

back to boat building<br />has ennebody seen the glen-l picklefork and/or squirt i think i want to build those two in that order next. that squirt intrigues me. and the picklefork, well ned i say more?

yes actually the glen L picklefork was offered in popular science or popular mechanics some years back and is still out there in free plans. Found it when I was searching for plans. The squirt is awesome and was my first choice in looking through there. Almost bought the plans and probably still will one of these days if I ever get thinking about a "serious" project.<br /><br />anyone bored? Wimps Chat

that squirt is soooooo cool but im not sure if i can handle it right out of the minimax, so im thinking the 'fork first and then the squirt. i would really like to build it classic like.

Go from pg 9 to 10 in no time..... and boat buildin to retail sales... man I need to check in more often...<br /><br />Been in retail for some time now... and myself often laughs at the mark-ups etc.... but when you really break it down... based on all items sold in a quater...or even period you would be shocked as to how little profits there actually are.... However, there are the money now companies, and the money later companies... the money laters will sell the items cheaper now knowing they will sell more of them in the long run... it only makes sense to go that route.. but what do I know.. I got all my experience from working... not going to college, and I don't wear a suite and sit behind a desk and punch numbers all day....

LOL yeah I figured I shouldn't....but I figure it will still be a blast to build, yet I will still be able to use it for things I have always wanted to do but couldnt affort to bacause I'd have to get a different boat.

idk...one of the jon boat pics showed a guy with a 25hp on it.....the thing must just flat out fly. I can do 30+ easy with my 25 on my alumacraft.<br /><br />

sorry about the late reply here, The method of glassing that batue2 website talks about is done with epoxy resin.<br /><br />The method putting uncured resin down first, is using polyester resin.<br /><br />these are two very different types of resin, and as such, require different methods of use.
