Thanks for the tip. Yes it is a new boat and does mean payments! I have a gravel rv pad already on the side of my house from the last owner.

You may also ask around about indoor storage. Other people who have boats are thge best source. I have stored my boat at a county fair for the past 4 years for about $120/6mos. To me that was well worth as I drop it off after winterizing it and it sits in a fair building all winter long. It comes out in the spring with a little dust on it, but just like when it went in.. I am guessing in Colo there are probably plenty of places like this.

I own a commercial sewing machine and learned form my mom who has been sewing boat covers for years. Here is my machine:

Here is another cover I was working on with removable "skirts". Its the next best thing to a carport since it protects the sides:
