To Interdeck or not to Interdeck?

HI Guys. My plan was to put some Intedeck down. My deck however, was non-skidded 2 years ago byt the guy that helped me with my deck re-do. I am looking for a little advice I guess. Should I paint Interdeck over this, or should I use something else?

The non-skid is still in great shape, paint is just beat up.

Thanks!

I would decide after doing some prep. If you have any Brightside left from the other job, Interlux has a non-skid additive you could put in it, Interdeck is basically Brightside with additive in it anyway.

Hello,
Scuda11, are you happy with the Interkeck?? I am considering applying it onto my new floor, either that or vinyl. Having a tough time deciding which one to use. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanx and have a great day,

Rob.

Well, just wanted to get back to you Rob, I painted the interdeck finally today. I'll post some pics soon.

It is THICK! Like cake frosting thick. I thinned it pretty good, using 333. prob 10-15%. I did the whole deck of my 20 footer with one quart. It went on great though, it was easy to paint.

Here are some updated pics though:

I've got interdeck on mine - love it!

After applying it you need to stay off it for a few days. It takes a full week to really cure properly, and you need to give it that time too.

As I learned the hard way! Dries quickly to the touch, I stepped on it by accident (left my sunglasses up top) and left a nice sneaker mark! Oh well, I'll cover it easily enough.
