to many crank but not running

i bought the boat with the evinrude outboard. this motor the owner wont runing for a year, the start is new, i use a new battry, the tank is full of gas,
i try many times with many slow cranks in the beguinning until the end the flywheel runing more strong but nothing happen. could anybody help me to find out how to run the engine, please.

I understand that English may not be your first language, but it is going to be very difficult to help you unless we know what outboard motor you have. Please give us the model number or the year and horsepower of your motor.
