thinking about a vinyl wrap for my toon what you think to wrap or not to wrap

We have been looking into that as well. It would totally change the look of the toon. If I had the money it would be done already.

a wrap is putting a thin layer of vynil with a design on it stuck to the side. a lot of companies wrap there vans as a way of advertising its much cheaper than having intrickate designs air brushed on the boat hope that helps and as far as winter wrap i live in vegas and use boat year round no need for that so come see me when your lake freezes and we'll go fishing

When it comes time to lay up our boats up here in the tundra we still go fishing. We drill a hole in the ice and continue on just like we did when the water was liquid. We don't need no stinkin' sunshine to fish year around.

Thanks. Sound like it depends on the age of the boat. not sure why you would do that, it does not make it float better, and from the dents I see on the toons around here, how long will that last! (I think people around here use theirs as big bumper boats.(Or cant dock!)

I'm waiting to see a pic of someone in the winter taking their fish'n boat out on a frozen lake ( on the trailer if you dont want to wreck it) drill a hole in the ice, sitting in it with pole and all decked out! That would make for a great - die hard fisherman's picture!

Thanks. Sound like it depends on the age of the boat. not sure why you would do that, it does not make it float better, and from the dents I see on the toons around here, how long will that last! (I think people around here use theirs as big bumper boats.(Or cant dock!)

I don't know...

Green leaves as the background with rose buds in various stages of opening scattered about.

The boat name spelled out in roses as the text...

Maybe some semi transparent beauties laying in the same green foilage background with bathing suits made of roses, not real bold and bright, you might not even see them there until you get closer.

Bands of roses intermixed in the foilage of different colors.

I have a wrapped boat. I did it myself. And I recommend it.
Times change why shouldn't your boats style.
Mine used to be brown and nicknamed the tird !

There is the expensive way - a digitally printed wrap with a custom design
There is a cheap way - solid colors off a solid roll of vinyl
Mine is the cheap way.

If you never tie up with fenders, or rub docks it would work great.
I tie up all the time and rub the vinyl right off my boat but the beauty is that its a flat black that I installed - and I patch it with extra vinyl and a scissor, or when I get lazy like today I hit it with some spray paint. Haha

A 50 yard roll of vinyl from a sign supply shop is around 100 bux.

My hull is stress cracked like shattered glass but you'd never know from 5 feet away. This spring I scored a blem chrome accent from an RV kit and added it on.

I don't have a pic of it brown because when I bought it the first thing I did was bury the brown but here are some pics.

With the digital wraps, i think the neat thing is hiding things, you can look at them over and over and find new hidden objects every time you look.

A vehicle wrap is a thin vinyl covering. Basically like the sticker window hours on a store window but the whole sheet over a whole vehicle. Most common on cars and trucks as ads.
