The boat is being pulled out of the backyard and into the driveway. Cover is coming off and preparations for the new boating season will begin.
She needs a new shift cable. I picked up a couple of new cables a few weeks ago and I started the job last fall. I figure 2 hours max to finish replacing both the shift and throttle cables. I noticed one of the thermostat covers was cracked a little when I winterized the motor. I have 2 new covers, O rings, thermostats and springs ready to go. That is maybe a 30 minute job at most.
Hoping to get her fired up today and then clean the remainder of the weekend. Off to the RMV on Monday to renew the plate on the trailer. With any luck and good weather she will be on the water next weekend.
