Re: Tohatsu 20hp prop

The old prop must have a number written on it, match with same number if opting for stainless steel.

Happy Boating

Re: Tohatsu 20hp prop

Just found out the one i ordered is a 14 spline prop. I boats matched it by manufacturer-year and hp. Cant find anything on whats on the motor side though. Guess the only way to find out is to pull the old one off and count em. Hope its 14.......................

Tohatsu doesn't use spline counts....They use model numbers and part numbers

Awesome. Yeah looks like its a standard size kinda thing. Didnt think they made stainless props for 20 hp though. It should be here tomorow, looks like it'll work.

Your al prop may be able to be repaired.
If you boat where hard contact"rocks" is likely.A stainless while more rugged will likely be damaged
and is more costly to repair.

Yeah I already filed it down as best I could. But I'm OCD about my stuff so I used it as an excuse to get a better prop. Ill keep the old one though so I have a backup
