Tohatsu Guru - questions about 4-6hp's 4 strokes

Looking at getting one of the smaller 4strokes and was wondering if there is any model year range that I should look for or any significant changes that would make the newer ones better. Been looking at year 2000 and up so not sure if they've changed them much since then (like vibration/noise/electronics improvements etc)

Between the A and B, no real changesthat you would notice. The new C model has a longer handle and mounts the gear shift on the front of the engine The whole series has been trouble free, other than the usual fuel issues found on all small motors.

Thanks TG - hey do you know if there is a kit to put an internal gas tank in them?

No kit...Just the individual parts. It would be rather expensive to convert to an internal tank.
