The water trickles out at idle and only about 1/3 to 1/2 the speed of OMC's. The impeller cup looks like new, but the plate it sits on has a slight hump in it where it covers a small cavity underneith that goes nowhere. Is that normal? I have a new impeller and figured I'd get new gaskets and a water tube seal. I believe the water tube is clear, since I used compressed air check it. What do you think?

Is that OB for fresh or salt water use ? If salt, was fushed after use, or combo lives moored, impossible to flush after use ? Although a complete WP kit is advised to change, at least change lower plate, probably is losing water pressure due to the hump.

Is the peeing port (water indicator) exit made of metal or plastic, if plastic, poke a wire, if metal, introduce W40 red cannula inside port and squirt an overdose of product, let penetrate, turn OB on and poke cannula back and forth to clear obstruction, if any.

Happy Boating

If you're talking about a 50hp tldi, I have the same motor and it does the same thing. The pee stream is not very robust at idle, but it picks up when the rpms are increased. My motor is a 2012 with almost 100 hours now.

Mine isn't a tili. Someone told me that a small hump on the grid plate below the impeller could cause a lack of suction and not pump water like it should. Will soon see.
