Tongue Jack: Any Recommendations?

The tongue jack on my barge trailer is somewhat uncooperative. I disassembled it and cleaned and lubed it last year and that helped, but it's still a pretty tough crank. I have developed a shoulder issue that I'm pretty sure was caused by manhandling the thing, so I think it's time to replace it. Does anyone love a certain brand/type. I currently have the top crank version, so it seems logical that I should replace it with a side crank model to reduce the stress on the gimped up part of my shoulder. Please be forthcoming with any and all thoughts.

The Fulton jack on my E Z Loader works well and cranks with no effort. You can get a 1200 # jack for about $50 with shipping here on IBoats.

I find they don't last too long any more--like everything else.
I wonder if yo uhave too much weight on it, though--is your trailer property balanced?

If you would like a nice easy cranking jack the Fulton F2 is a really nice piece.

To my knowledge it is. Factory matched and I haven't changed anything. It just feels like it binds quite a bit. It's a 2001 trailer, so it's probably just time for a new jack.
