Do like I did, tell him you'll come look at the boat and if you like it you'll pay him cash! Then you get all kind of BS. That's what I told the guy that had the Tracker, and he came up with, it's at a shipper and I'm in Arizona.

Yep, got this same email! Was on CL in Seattle,Washington. Needless to say, I'll keep looking for another boat.

This 2000 Lund 1850 Tyee GS Signature Edition ITS, runs and drives excellent. This boat has been extremely well maintained with a full service history. Free of any liens or loans. This boat is in excellent working conditions, no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions. I bought it when i was serving in Fort Belvoir, U.S. Army base near Bethesda, MD and now I am in United Kingdom. I have dropped my price to $2,900.00 USD (purchase price) since this is an Urgent Sale! and I need to sell it before 20 July, when I will be deployed in Iraq with my platoon replacing the troops scheduled to come home. If you're interested to conclude this purchase in a timely manner I will open a case with eBay and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. The financial part will be managed by them, which means that you will have a 5 days inspection period before committing to buy the boat. In this way both, buyer and seller are 100% covered during the steps of this transaction. I will take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the boat, to be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions. This way, I shall be assured of the serious intentions. So if you are interested please e-mail me back for more details about the transaction.
Here you can find more pictures with the boat: http://sheacaplice.com/content/

Thank you and have a great day,

someone needs to report these to the DOD if there is a way to do so. I know they take these kind of things seriously. this looks to be someone saying that they are a United States Army soldier I believe that CID would have something to say about this.

Re: Too good to be true???

I have seen this add....it sounds like the perfect boat for me( but i already bought the perfect boat 15 months ago, )

I wish I had seen it. It started at 6995 then went to 5995, and now is an unbelievable 4995!!

if the motor runs I dont know HOW it couldnt be a super deal...

but now i saw this post and am wondering

I bet it is parked away from the seller...thus the no more pictures...but that is what a scammer would say too though right?

maybe they just got too many boats up there for sale...

I should make one of my hunting and fishing buddy buy it.... they are always depending on me to have the boat!!

ps i have the same motor in the 1995 version and i paid $2500 for it alone!!!
