95 deg, 82% humidity. Iowa is now Florida. Summer was a long time getting here, but it has arrived.

Same for us at the Iowa / Missouri border. I was thinking about getting out on the boat but there is so much garbage (logs and such) floating and the state has issued health warnings for every body of water within a hundred miles so I nixed the idea. On the plus side. maybe the heat will help dry things up.
Bring it on, tomorrow is July 1st.Its never too hot to grill!
Suppose to be 95 degree's here Saturday too. I luv summer!![]()

We got 10" just last week.Saw on local NEWS last night that DFW (50 miles East of The Hideout) had the hottest June on record with average daily high of 97 point something degrees and 7 days over 100.
Daytime temps here were consistently 3-5 degrees hotter than DFW and I remember only one day in June that it didn't top 100. Our average high had to be over 100.
We got 2.25" of rain in June.
Dear Mother Nature: I promise, cross my heart and hope to die, that I will never again ridicule or make jokes about global (well, at least Hideout) warming if you will, please, please, return us to normal temps.
