top coat ?

i have a 1979 mckee bottom is gelcoat white ,top is aqua or light blue want to repaint topside want to use the easiest method and type of paint .any suggestions on paint and or links to topside paint,i can spray ,but would rather roll and tip but want good finish ,any input would be great

If you want it to look good, since it is above the waterline and you say that you can spray, use a single stage Urethane or if you want a metalic use a base coat clear coat. It will look great and have decent hardness!

I would like to mention that your finish coat will only be as good as your prep work. So figure 90% prep and 10% paint.

thanks guys i have painted lots of cars for about 20 years
but never a boat would like to roll and tip but im scared ,
what type of primer ,i guess i should use a system like interlux ,
may spray it though tahnk you
