Welcome to the forum. Only testing it will tell. It can cause the symptom you described, but so can a dirty carb, fouled plug, defective switchbox, defective coil, or a bad connection to any of those components. I wish I could narrow it down for you, but I can't. IUt will take a good volt/ohmemter and the shop manual. You can start with the plugs. Thier condition can usually do more at explaining what the cylinder it came from is doing, than even the book can.
