After my 98 Fitch rebuild, I've put my rig on the water 3 times. Each outing the motor starts and runs very well for a short period of time. Plugs in both upper cylinders eventually foul and engine will not run over 2200 RPM. Inspection reveals black and burn't plugs on those cylinders and the rest look normal. I have not purchased the diag software for the motor but looks like a must to figure this one out. Any suggestions would be appreciated....Oh by the way its the 150 model.

You have me at a loss here! You are having problems, and you are going to buy the software. Did'nt the person doing the rebuild have the software? Sounds like, " I never rebuilt a Ficht engine, but I talked to a guy, who knew a guy, that did"

Raptor.....Are those plugs being indexed correctly? Were the heads replaced during rebuild with the pinned heads? These are some things to find out before jumping to getting the software.

Maybe this is a dumb reply but have you thought about taking it back to the guy you paid to rebuild it?
