I have been reading the Cigarette thread with interest, but dared not enter the fray. I tend to take these matters somewhat too personally. Besides,JB and the others responded better than I could articulate.<br />I just have to mention what TRUE CLASS is, and that is the way Admin5 closed it...Didn't delete it, just closed it out,and left it there,as a prime example of why this place is different from other boater's sites.<br />Viva, Admin!!

I'm starting to take issue with 12 FOOTER's trailer about Bayliners and Tylenol. There are very few 18.5 cuddy cabins with a 6' 6" berth. I last looked at a Regal 20.5 and it barely had 5' of berth.<br /><br /><br />I DID sleep on a Bayliner and she didn't have a headache!!! Carpeted ceiling, mirrors optional.

Glad I missed out on the mud slinging myself. I have a cousin that brags about his boats all the time. I can stand about 5 min. with him. I remember when he was a broke kid and MY father introduced him to fishing. <br /><br />Whats up with Bayliner stuff? Ocean motion and a little love potion?<br /><br />Water is warm, come on in!

Speaking, as one of the three stooges, Capt Solo referred to, I must say something here.<br />I also regretted posting my post.I don't even have the beer excuse.His superior attitude just rubbed me the wrong way.His money makes him better-oh boy.Like they say, it takes all kinds, to make the world go round.Well I hope he's moved on. <br />One more thought- There are a few other forums I enjoy BUT occasionally the- my $45-$50,000 23'CC is better than your $45-$50,000<br />23'CC gets old.This forum, it's more like, how do I rebuild my 15 year old whatever.<br />It's much more refreshing and down to earth.<br />

Just read the Cigarrete thing myself.<br /><br />I can't help but understand captain solo.<br /><br />If I read it right he has not, never has and never will have a real friend in the world. he was probably bullied at school and now needs the anonymity of the web to bully others.<br /><br />If I needed help in the middle of the night, I wouldn't call Captain SoLow, I'd call JB.<br /><br />Even if it is a long way from Texas.<br /><br />Keep up the Forum, it's better than Hemmingway.

I posted and didn't regret it.. He is a gasbag that most probably had other motives. With all the Tax schemes he is probably involved in, you and I probably own as much of that boat as he does.

speaking as the third stooge (Moe?), I kind of regret posting too. Any normal annoying person I would have just left alone. I couldn't resist interacting with Captain Solo's larger than life personality. It's like tapping on the glass at the aquarium when the weird swampfish from the Amzaon delta swims by. You have to admit, he's got a pretty unusual act. I can't figure out if he's real or just the product of some teenage flamer's scary imagination. Roger, if you can figure out what sane motive he'd have to spend all that time typing out those bizarre posts to be read by we poor 15hp loving stooges, I'd love to hear it.

I think that I might be a little of all 3 stooges just by resonding but I feel I got to.<br />Solo, sir?, (no insult intended), I own a $4,000.00 (nada) boat, a 1983 Ford truck as a tow vehicle and well ok, I do have another car for touring that cost me a pretty penny but big **** deal.<br />I have had the $300k boats and they did not impress the fish. Slammin this forum is, for lack of better words, assinine.<br />I am happy for you that you went from rags to riches but, why toot it here? I think some of you might suspect it, and maybe are even hinting at it, but it is clear that "Capt. Solo" lives a fantasy life. Maybe the sheer bombastic tone threw of people's instincts, but its obvious that the gentlman's claims are nothing more than a flight of fancy...400K salary from a company that has a net value of a mere 2 mil!
