Hey there everyone.. Does anyone know where I can get a new top for a 74 15 foot MFG Gypsy? Not a bimini top but the factory convertible top...

Actually any parts for this boat.. I cant tell you how frustrated I am becoming just trying to find parts like the original deck rail, tonneau cover, gauges, dash panel, window supports, etc. ARGH!

I'm guessing you're going to have to have a canvas shop make the top. That is a pretty old boat; I know Mark42 has a MFG and I think that is the route he took.​

Actually the top i mean is in this picture, the boat on the right.

That is exactly the boat I have, same color and everything. Only problem was, someone had pulled all of the hardware off (like the grab rail in the front, windsheild support bars and such off before I got it. I live in Michigan and if you cant drive your boat in the rain, you never end up driving it. So I am on a quest to get the top and hardware that is on that boat on the right. Im afraid if I end up having to get one made it will cost more than the boat is worth.

as far as the parts go your looking for an needle in a haystack. your top will have to be custom made. people were not into any restoration of glass boats back then. they just went to boat heaven.
