sell the trophy...for 340 a month, you can sure make that skipjack one nice boat....

if anybody tells you to keep the trophy, they must have a good sence of humor.

Strictly from a financial point of view, you have not given us much info to go on. What's the year of the Skipjack and what's it worth? What's the year and worth of the Trophy and how much is left to pay? The Trophy is the newer problem-free boat? How used is the Skipjack and has it been giving you any trouble and time away from boating? Do you envision any major expenses on the Skipjack?
--------------------------------------------------

Also, a helpfull way of rating each boat is to list attributes/factors that you feel are important to you and rating them from 1 to 5 (5 being the highest).

Example:

boat size
gas economy
reliability
power
speed
comfort
cost
etc.

The boat with the highest score wins.

Of course, if your opinion varies on these factors, you are back to square one! :D

The trophy 2003 cost $35,000 14yrs on loan
the wash down pump went out 2 times, and the impeller was replaced,so it has it share of trouble too. The skipjack 1979 boat spent most of it life in Las Vegas,Nevada in fresh water,so the boat is in great shape and so far only had tilt problems, the trophy will win 60% of the rating but the payment might offset that...Thanks guy for all the support i will keep the skipjack and let him have the trophy, no more partnership, and we can still fish together without hard feeling...Thanks again ...Dave
