A couple months ago I was in Costa Mesa, CA, and everyone had to go to the lobby of the building I was in because there was a tornado warning - IN L.A.!

Temp dropped from 68* to 54* real fast here.. like - right now!<br /><br />I just talked to a contractor @ 20 miles south of me and the temp from his truck sensor read 73* <br /><br />The sky looks freakin' nuts!! three or four cloud levels going different directions with the bottom two just spinning and swirling..

yea pjc .. gotta love it up here !!<br /><br />hopefully it'll blow north of ya but it sorta appears to be spinnin' back around for a good 'second swipe'..<br /><br /><br />pardon the weather play by play everyone .. haven't seen a storms edge just sit on me before

love the storm clouds when they turn pea green...real neat and thick.....sat tv goes "searching for signal", and is very quiet around...

Rangoon here .. <br /><br />I think were still here anyways .. <<clicks heels together>><br /><br />hail only dumped down for a minute or two here FSHKPR.. hope the hail isn't gaining size and on its way up there.. was @ 1/2" here<br /><br />a few pics of the sky.. first one (north) you can sort-of tell the 4 layers of clouds .. second one (east) is perty neat I think..<br />

I am so glad I leve here and not there. No quakes not Tornades no Hurricane and no water. <br /><br />Hope it passes you by and tears up some vacant farm land and not hurt anybody.

I like storms like that. Not near me though. I had enough of that where I grew up. <br />Now we get no tornados or lightning storms where I live now.

thats pretty much what our sky looked like last night. never did see any hail. but it did rain for quite awhile. and lots of lightning. wish it could of rained alittle more i just want the snow to be gone.<br />eeboater i grew up in ashwaubenon too. and now live there, graduated in 76. if i recall you grew up on onieda street right?

Well we had a few tornado sightings but nothing touched down over here in La Crosse. Yesterday we hit 72 degrees and now were going to be lucky to hit 50 degrees.

It may "look" that way snapper, but it's a world of difference. If FL the sotrm lasts what 20 minutes? In IL they go on for hours sometimes, oh and then there is the hail & the 60 mph steady stright line winds, oh with the gusts to 70!
