torque values for transom plate, main seal, exhaust yoke for a 260A w/ 280 drive?

Hi All,

Does anyone know...

torque values for transom plate, main seal, exhaust yoke for a 260A w/ 280drive? i'm re-installing...

also..what sealant..if any on transom plate, exhaust yoke to transom plate, and main donut seals?

Exhaust Y to transom shield 35 ft lbs.
When installing transom shield, be sure to use a new oring gasket, no sealer required.

Thanks for that Don....should I use some sealant on the transom plate o ring?

Sorry Don, I don't always type what I'm thinking...

I meant the large seal around the transom plate to the boat....I know u said no sealant on the yoke to plate oring thanks!

Thanks, Don...for some reason I thought you were referring to the exhaust/yoke transom shield o ring (s) ....which some people say goop with 4200....others say not...
